Police Department

The Fort Loramie Police Department has a staff of full time and part time officers, overseen by Chief Nathan Brown. All officers have completed mandatory and voluntary training through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.

 

The Police Department is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of the community and working in partnership with the local residents and businesses to maintain a safe and secure environment.

In 2018 the Village of Fort Loramie entered into a contract with the McLean Township trustees to provide additional law enforcement coverage to McLean Township. The Fort Loramie Police Department works closely with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to provide high quality law enforcement protection to Fort Loramie and McLean Township.
