Zoning Board of Appeals
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Fort Loramie Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 14 Elm Street, Fort Loramie, Ohio. This is a second public hearing, as the initial Public Hearing was tabled, to consider an appeal & variance request for Nicholas & Sara Zircher at 56 Elm Street.
- An appeal of a zoning violation regarding zoning permit #2025-003. Nick & Sara Zircher obtained a zoning permit in March of 2025 for an accessory building (shed). The Zircher’s installed a metal storage container. Mr. & Mrs. Zircher were issued a violation in July 2025 as metal siding is not allowed in R-2 zoning district. The Zircher’s are seeking an appeal of this violation.
- The Zircher’s are also requesting a setback variance reduction to 2’ (where the unit is currently placed, this has changed since the initial Public Hearing…original request was 5’) instead of the required 10’.
The applications are available for review at the Village offices during normal business hours.
